Dear Dr. Roach:I was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate after an operation on a prostate gland. I have no concerns about my health and have been on finasteride for several months. It is not a good option for me, so I decided to try Propecia.
I started taking Propecia at the same time each day. I have taken it for over five years and I am not ashamed to say it has helped my sex life. But, I also do not want to lose any quality of life. I wanted to learn about this and was considering taking Propecia as well.
I started taking Propecia about 4 weeks ago, but my condition has remained the same. I still have a few problems, but I am able to get an erection and maintain a normal sex life. I am also able to have intercourse, but I can't take pills because it is hard to take and my wife has taken them before. I am very confused and want to learn about this.
I would like to hear from others who have taken Propecia. I understand the need to treat these issues. I know that it is a male sexual disease, and the use of Propecia may lead to negative effects.
I am sure that Propecia will help in terms of reducing the risk of developing prostate cancer. However, the side effects can be more serious, and I want to find a way to reduce my risk and not use it as a remedy.
I am glad you are interested in this medication. It can help with other problems.

Posted atDecember 2011February 2011Hello Dr. Roach! I am so sorry for your loss, but I was thinking of taking Propecia for a couple of months. I have taken Propecia for two years now and I have not experienced any negative side effects. I also have not seen any side effects. I think Propecia is a good choice for my condition. The risk of prostate cancer is very low and not even harmful to the body.
Propecia will not protect against prostate cancer and I am afraid of getting side effects. So, if you need help with your health, it would be best to ask Dr. Roach for a referral.
Thanks for your input!
